Pacific Coast Producers is seeking a Quality Control Lab Lead for our The Dalles facility in Oregon. The role oversees lab staff and QC record keeping, with responsibilities across grading, testing, data entry, and reporting in a high-demand production environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in physical science or 2 years of lab experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and general computer skills.
• Strong arithmetic skills for percentages, ppm, averages.
• Laboratory skills including pH measurement and titration.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with others.
• Willingness to become PCQI certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab staff duties and QC record keeping.
• Direct and train graders, lab techs, and pit checkers.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and maintain equipment.
• Enter QC data and create reports.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
