Job summary

Pacific Staffing, LLC is assisting a fruit processing operation in Hillsboro, OR to hire a Quality Control technician for the peak harvest season. You will perform QC testing on fruit and packaging, assist with in-process testing, ensure food safety compliance, and support production during busy times.

Experience in food processing QC and lab testing is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Shifts are long, up to 15 hours, 5–7 days per week, April through August.

Qualifications

• Laboratory testing experience is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on fruit and fruit packaging for food safety compliance.
• Conduct physical inspections of product and packaging throughout production.
• Monitor and document quality standards during processing.
• Support the production floor as needed during high-volume periods.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
• Assist with basic laboratory or in-process testing as required.
• Communicate quality issues clearly to production and leadership teams.
