JCSI is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager in Portland, OR to lead on-site safety and quality programs. The role requires hands-on production floor leadership and partnership with operations to uphold FDA and USDA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of regulated food experience, PCQI/HACCP certification, and proven audit leadership. Competitive base salary plus a 10% target incentive, with full on-site benefits and growth opportunities.

• 5+ years in food safety/quality within regulated food production.
• Direct hands-on production floor experience with recipes, temps and labeling.
• Leadership experience with training and accountability.
• Experience with FDA/USDA regulatory requirements and audits.
• PCQI and HACCP certification; strong documentation discipline.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure compliance of food safety and quality programs.
• Perform daily floor walks and identify risks for improvement.
• Oversee audits, temperature checks, swab testing, and inspections.
• Collaborate with Operations to implement corrective actions.
• Lead customer/regulatory audits and provide documentation.
