Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a senior QA professional to lead quality assurance programs across complex software lifecycles. You will design test strategies, write automated scripts, and oversee defect tracking and QA standardization to ensure government-grade software quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with business and development teams, conducting reviews, and driving test planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.
• Certified Tester – Advanced Level desired.
• 8–15 years of professional software testing experience including test automation, planning, and design.
• Experience collaborating with developers, end users, and organizations to create test plans and scripts.
• Experience configuring hardware and operating environments for testing.
• Experience writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of CMMI II/III, IEEE or SDLC standards and automation frameworks.
• Experience in customer support in government environments.
• Strong multitasking across multiple projects.
• Ability to create automated test scripts for iterative development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Proficiency with databases and SQL queries.
• Ability to transfer knowledge to non-technical resources.
• Initiative and calm under pressure.
• Experience with integrated test management tools for defects & requirements traceability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong QA automation knowledge for UI and non-UI applications.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business, product, and development teams as a senior QA resource through SDLC.
• Provides high level of functionality, usability, and testability during requirements phase.
• Participates in requirements, design, and interface specification reviews to ensure product testability.
• Creates the master test plan for multiple projects with testing strategy and schedules.
• Writes, maintains, and executes automated test scripts.
• Analyzes complex system requirements to create and execute test cases.
• Plans, documents, evaluates, and tracks testing results.
• Leads walk-throughs, inspections, reviews, and user group meetings.
• Participates in production deployment verification and validates system quality.
• Leads evaluation of products for adherence to government directives and standards.
• Establishes quantitative QA measurements and metrics.
• Leads test case reviews and change control; manages defects.
• Enters defects into defect tracking tool and reviews junior member entries.
• Supports QA standardization across the company.
• Identifies QA training and certifications.
• Coordinates with other QA leads on projects.
• Conducts QA reviews and inspections to identify defects and recommends corrective action.
• Creates testing SOPs for clarity of procedures.
• Communicates changes or impediments to managers.
