SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Software QA and Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering team and ensure high-quality software for internal customers. This role is fully remote, or hybrid with regular office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, Oregon.

You will test our custom software for construction management, data monitoring, analytics, and reporting. You will own testing, write test cases, and drive automation improvements while collaborating with developers and product teams to

Qualificações

Experience testing software applications and validating features against requirements.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for test planning and tracking.
Experience writing automated tests for Typescript or Python code bases.

Responsabilidades

Achieve expert understanding of our software features, integrations, and usage.
Prioritize and manage test work with Jira, team tools, and release timelines.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to verify behavior.
Coordinate functional, regression, negative, and ad-hoc testing with QA peers.
Write comprehensive test cases covering functional scenarios.
Identify opportunities to improve testing via automation and AI.
Maintain test environments and basic Git/GitHub workflows to run code locally.
Provide frontline support for our custom software and report reproducible bugs in Jira.
Monitor support channels and document tickets through resolution.
Identify recurring issues and suggest root-cause fixes.
