SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Software QA and Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team. This role is fully remote, or hybrid with regular office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, Oregon.

You will test our software solutions, coordinate with internal/external teams, and drive continuous improvement across testing and support processes. We expect 5+ years of QA experience, a BS in a related field, and automation testing skills in TypeScript or Python.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software QA testing experience.
• Experience writing automated tests for TypeScript or Python.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for test management.
• Ability to operate in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve expert understanding of custom software features and integrations.
• Prioritize and manage testing work independently using Jira and release timelines.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for functional scenarios.
• Coordinate with developers and product teams for testing and quality improvements.
• Provide first-line support and document known fixes to reduce repeat tickets.
