Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC rules.

You will write the project quality control plan, run three-phase meetings, supervise QC inspectors, and own NCR resolution and documentation. Applicants should have 6+ years in QC or special inspection, 2+ years supervising, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be on active job sites.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
