Job summary

Loenbro in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a QAQC Manager to implement and maintain the quality program for industrial coatings projects. You will work with project management, field operations, inspectors, and clients to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–7 years of QAQC experience in concrete and structural coatings, NACE 2/3 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of QAQC experience in concrete and structural coating applications.
• Certification: NACE 2 or 3.
• Familiarity with paint testing procedures including holiday, DFT, adhesion, rub, and environmental testing.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans.
• Lead QAQC kickoff and coordination meetings with project and client stakeholders.
• Oversee all inspection activities, including mockup verification, workmanship checks, and coating system testing.
• Review and interpret product data sheets, drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance.
• Manage QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, test results, and turnover packages.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to production crews and inspectors.
• Interface with clients, general contractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
• Support training and development for field teams on QAQC best practices.
