Job summary

Loenbro seeks a QAQC Manager to implement and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for industrial coatings construction projects. You will work with project management, field operations, inspectors, and clients to uphold quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing QAQC plans, leading kickoff meetings, overseeing inspections, and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of QAQC experience in concrete and structural coating application.
• Familiarity with painting testing procedures including holiday, DFT, adhesion, rub, and environmental testing.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, drawings, specifications, and submittals.

• Develop, implement, and maintain QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans.
• Lead QAQC kickoff and coordination meetings with project and client stakeholders.
• Oversee all inspection activities, including mockup verification, workmanship checks, and coating system testing (holiday, DFT, adhesion).
• Review and interpret product data sheets, drawings, specs, and submittals to ensure proper installation and inspection.

Job Summary
The QAQC Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program forIndustrial complex coatingsconstruction projects. This role ensures all work complies with design specifications, customer requirements, industry codes,manufacturer specificationsand company standards. The QAQC Manager willworkclosely with project management, field operations,3rd party inspectorsand clients to drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Quality Management & Oversight:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QAQC plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans in alignment with company standards and project requirements.
• Lead QAQC kickoff and coordination meetings with project and client stakeholders.
• Oversee all inspection activities, includingmockup verification, workmanship checks, andcoatingsystem testingincluding but not limited to holiday testing, DFT, and adhesion testing.
• Review andinterpret, product data sheets,drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure, application recording,proper mixing,installation, and inspection are compliant.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Manage QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), test results, and turnover packages.
• Maintain accurate inspection logs and coordinate final quality turnover documentation to support closeout.
• Utilize QAQC tools for inspection tracking, issue management, and documentation control.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance toproduction crews and inspectors.
• Collaborate with constructionand shopteams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Support and participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned initiatives.
• Interface with clients, general contractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure alignment and compliance with quality expectations.
• Conduct audits andsurveillanceto monitor adherence to quality standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance the company’s QAQC program.
• Support training and development for field teams to reinforce best practices and code compliance.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5–7 years of QAQC experience inconcrete and structural coating application, preferably in industrial projects.
• NACE 2 or 3 certification.
• Familiarity withpainttesting procedures includingholiday,DFT,adhesion,rub, andenvirionmentaltesting.
• Ability to read and interpretdatasheets,drawings, specifications, and submittals.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

• Travel requirements:traveling between jobs within the Phoenixmetrepolitanarea. Travel outside the area is about 15%.
