Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Industrial Coatings Coordinator to oversee coating and corrosion protection projects. You will liaison between project management, field crews, inspectors, and clients to ensure on-time completion and quality adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating coating, sandblasting, and surface prep; reviewing specs; planning, scheduling, and resource management; and managing procurement of coatings and materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial coatings, protective coatings, construction, maintenance, or related industries.
• Knowledge of surface preparation standards and coating application methods.
• Understanding of industrial project scheduling and field operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate industrial coating, sandblasting, surface preparation, and painting activities on multiple projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, coating systems, and client requirements.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and resource management.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of coatings, blast media, equipment, and consumable materials.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Support quality control activities, including coating inspections, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Maintain project records, daily reports, production tracking, and material usage reports.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure work is on schedule.
• Participate in project meetings, site walkthroughs, and client updates.
• Identify and resolve project issues related to scheduling, materials, productivity, and quality.
• Support project closeout activities, including final documentation and turnover packages.
