Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Coatings Project Engineer to join our engineering team in Gilbert, AZ. This role leads industrial coating projects from customer requirements through completion, delivering safe, on-time, within-budget outcomes with compliance to industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical/Chemical/Materials/Industrial engineering degree and 3+ years of coating, corrosion protection, or surface treatment project management experience, plus knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
3+ years of experience managing industrial coating, corrosion protection, painting, or surface treatment projects.
Knowledge of protective coating systems, surface preparation methods, and coating application techniques.
Familiarity with SSPC/AMPP, NACE, ASTM, and ISO standards.
Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage industrial coating projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate activities between customers, contractors, operations, suppliers, and quality teams.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
