Job summary

Datacenter People is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to provide on-site, third-party quality oversight for large-scale data center projects. You’ll report to the client, collaborate with construction teams, and ensure contractors meet program standards and specifications.

Based US-wide, the role offers long-term site assignments, full travel and living cost coverage, and a strong training program within a respected, established organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical systems within construction or industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management.
• Experience with QA/QC on large-scale data center or critical facilities projects.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, CQA and/or CQE preferred.
• Willingness to work long-term site assignments with extended rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality control from kickoff to hand-off and implement the QC plan.
• Perform quality inspections and coordinate site inspections with subcontractors.
• Verify site activities comply with design documents and program standards.
• Act as the client’s point of contact on all quality matters.
• Chair weekly QA/QC site meetings.
• Review non-conformance reports and drive remedial actions.
• Manage QA/QC documentation and as-built handover.
• Coordinate approval of site QC submittals.
• Participate in internal and external site audits.
• Champion safety and company values on site.
