Traveling QA/QC Manager – Data Center Construction

Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a travelling field QA/QC lead to implement and manage the full QA/QC program on data center construction projects from kickoff through as-built handover.

You will oversee contractor compliance with engineering standards, coordinate all quality inspections, manage non-conformance reports, and serve as the primary quality interface between the site team and the client's representative. Travel and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. / B.A. in a relevant discipline.
• CQM certification.
• MEP QA/QC experience on large-scale critical environments.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Deltek.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client interfaces.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC Program Management — implementing and monitoring the site QC plan from kickoff to handover.
• Inspections & Compliance — coordinating quality inspections with subcontractors and vendors.
• Documentation & Handover — compiling QC documentation for as-built handover and client submission.
• Non-conformance Management — controlling NCRs and driving corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Coordination — aligning with client representatives and leading weekly QC meetings.
• Team Development — training site QC inspectors on client specs.
