Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking an onsite QA/QC Manager to own the quality program for data center construction from foundation to turnover. You will be on the floor, on the ceiling, and in the field, ensuring work meets design specs, codes, and client expectations.

You will develop the quality plan, manage ITPs, coordinate third-party inspections, and drive accountability across subcontractors. This role requires travel and relocation as projects rotate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/QC on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction.
• Experience developing and executing ITPs and tracking NCR/deficiencies.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, and codes (IBC/NEC/ASHRAE).
• Experience coordinating third-party and special inspections per AHJ rules.
• Proficient QA/QC documentation for turnover and closeout.
• Ability to communicate technical deficiencies clearly to subs and leadership.
• Experience with quality metrics reporting to project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage site QA/QC program for data center projects.
• Create and execute ITPs across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical trades.
• Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with drawings and codes.
• Review subcontractor quality plans and material submittals.
• Manage NCR process, track corrective actions, verify resolutions.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and testing (concrete, soils, etc.).
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and support design reviews pre-construction.
• Support commissioning and turnover with complete documentation.
