Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Manager to implement and lead the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program for a high-profile commercial project in Fredericksburg, VA.

You will oversee inspections, document findings, and drive continuous improvement through field collaboration with stakeholders. You will supervise QA/QC activities, ensure adherence to codes and specs, and guide team members to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of QA/QC experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and inspection protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• OSHA 30 and/or USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification preferred.
• Ability to lead field teams and enforce quality standards with professionalism and integrity.
• Proven track record working with people, teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document daily QA/QC inspections across trades (HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection).
• Complete and maintain inspection reports per project specs and standards.
• Perform three-phase inspections (preparatory, initial, follow-up) with corrective actions tracked.
• Lead weekly QA/QC walks with foremen and project teams.
• Create and manage Procore observations for all deficient items with proper documentation.
• Control observation closures to ensure only verified items are closed.
• Maintain comprehensive daily QA/QC logs with field conditions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with superintendents, PMs and subs to meet quality targets.
• Participate in internal QA/QC meetings and share trends and updates.
• Coordinate with external inspectors and third-party reviewers as required.
