Job summary

VIRTEXCO Corporation in Norfolk, VA seeks a Quality Control Manager for full-time engagement on commercial and federal projects. You will develop and administer the Quality Control Plan, coordinate with safety officers, certify submittals, and oversee testing and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Lead the QC team, manage project closeouts, and communicate with senior project managers to meet minimum quality standards while balancing productivity and scheduling

Qualifications

• Must have CQC certification and a BS degree in Construction Management or engineering (or related field)
• Experience with federal government contracts preferred
• Proven ability to administer quality control plans and coordinate with safety teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer the Quality Control Plan for the project.
• Assist Site Safety and Health Officer with the Safety Program.
• Certify submittals are in compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate final inspections with government personnel and engineers.
• Oversee testing and documentation of materials and workmanship.
