Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced QA/QC Specialist – Field to oversee quality operations across multiple projects. This field role requires travel between ACI sites, reading drawings and specifications, and documenting findings to drive resolution with project teams.

The ideal candidate has strong paper-to-field discipline, Procore experience, and the ability to coordinate inspections with managers, foremen, and inspectors. EOE and relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience reading drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs.
• Procore or similar construction software experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC field inspections and quality audits across multiple projects.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, shop drawings, piping isometrics, equipment schedules, details, and approved coordination drawings.
• Verify field installations against drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
• Document non-conforming work and track through corrective action and closeout.
• Coordinate inspections with project teams and third-party inspectors.
• Support project startup, commissioning, and turnover activities.
