Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Las Vegas, NV seeks a QA/QC Professional (3994) to lead quality on a government-contractor project. You will implement the QA Plan, oversee testing/inspections, and manage nonconformances while ensuring traceability and contract compliance.

US citizenship is required due to contract requirements. Required certifications include ACI Field-Testing Technician Grade 1, CQI, and CQM-C, plus familiarity with finish levels and moisture testing.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of QA/QC experience.
• Certification in ACI Field-Testing Technician (Grade 1).
• Certification as CQI.
• CQM-C certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with U.S. Gypsum Association five levels of finish.
• Familiarity with hygrometer and moisture testing.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Subcontractor on QA/QC matters and coordinate QA/QC activities.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Assurance Plan per contract requirements.
• Oversee testing and inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Maintain quality records for traceability and contract compliance.
• Administer nonconformance processes from identification to disposition.
• Apply knowledge of gypsum finish levels when evaluating work.
• Support hygrometer and moisture testing activities as required.
