Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance across healthcare and academic construction projects in Salt Lake City. You will lead quality programs, direct third-party contractors and trade labor, and ensure compliance with medical and university standards.

This role requires a technical leader with deep knowledge of physical plant systems, phased construction, and risk mitigation in clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, related field.
• Experience in medical office, medical research/laboratory, hospital, and university settings.
• Experience managing complex MEP/HVAC systems and phased construction.
• Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management platforms like eBuilder and Primavera.
• Ability to manage, direct, and inspect the work of contractors, unionized labor, and consultants.
• Technical understanding of physical plant systems, BAS, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution.
• Preferred experience with FGI guidelines, ICRA/ILSM protocols, medical equipment/infrastructure, and laboratory research facilities.
• Preferred certifications include ICC, CQI, CQMC, OSHA 30-Hour.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and inspect the work of third-party contractors, unionized trade labor, and external engineering/architecture consultants.
• Maintain technical oversight of physical plant systems, building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution.
• Oversee phased construction within medical office, ambulatory, and hospital facilities to minimize disruption to operational environments.
• Utilize project management, scheduling, and estimating systems such as eBuilder and Primavera.
• Ensure compliance with Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) standards and ICRA/ILSM guidelines during construction activities.
