Job summary

Clark Construction is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and inspect complex healthcare and academic construction projects in Salt Lake City. The role leads quality assurance initiatives, directs third‑party contractors and trade labor, and ensures rigorous compliance with medical, university, and facility standards.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of physical plant systems and a proven track record managing phased construction in clinical environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of management experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Experience working in medical office, medical research/laboratory, hospital, and university settings.
• Experience managing complex MEP/HVAC and phased construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and inspect the work of third‑party contractors, unionized trade labor, and external consultants.
• Maintain technical oversight of physical plant systems, BAS, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution.
• Oversee phased construction within medical facilities to minimize disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with FGI standards and ICRA/ILSM guidelines during construction activities.
