Job summary

Everpure is seeking an experienced backend engineer to join the FlashBlade team in Prague. You will own production backend services, focusing on reliability, scalability, and orchestration for a global customer base.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Prague and the US to shape core architecture and developer experience. The role emphasizes ownership of distributed systems, API design, and a strong emphasis on debugging and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in backend/system design in production.
• Proficiency in Python, Go or another OO language; willingness to master Go for primary development.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and scalable service design.
• Strong debugging, API design, and problem-solving skills with clear communication for international teams.
• In-office environment; expected to work from Prague office unless on PTO/travel/approved leave.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable backend services and platform components.
• Develop and maintain distributed systems for high concurrency and reliability.
• Create clean, stable APIs and evolve service interfaces for developer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams globally to drive infrastructure projects from design to production.
