Publix Super Markets, Inc. is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for the Vendor Funding Accounting team within Publix Technology.

You will lead testing strategy, collaborate with engineers, analysts, product owners, and architects to ensure a high-quality, scalable solution for vendor funding and accounting processes. The role requires senior QA leadership, automation expertise (Playwright/Python or C#), SQL data validation, and CI/CD testing in a hybrid Lakeland, FL environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or a related analytical field.
• 4+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
• 3+ years of automated testing for front-end, back-end, and APIs.
• 3+ years using SQL for test validation and data analysis.
• 2+ years of creating test strategies, plans, and automation approaches for enterprise apps.
• 2+ years of hands-on test automation with Playwright or similar tools.
• 1+ years of technical leadership mentoring QA engineers.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, ETL, and data-intensive apps.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA activities across the vendor funding product portfolio and modernization roadmap.
• Define test strategies, plans, data requirements, and quality metrics for complex initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable automated tests using Playwright with Python or C#.
• Establish and maintain automation standards, frameworks, and CI/CD testing practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test design, automation, defect analysis, and quality validation.
• Mentor QA engineers and communicate quality risks and release readiness to leadership.
• Drive testing across functional, integration, regression, API, data validation, and end-to-end scopes.
• Validate financial calculations, accounting processes, and data transformations.
• Use SQL to analyze large data sets across systems and environments.
• Facilitate defect triage and root-cause analysis; support release readiness.
