Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to lead end-to-end testing for Client Systems Engineering.

You will develop comprehensive test strategies, coordinate multi-team testing, and ensure high-quality delivery across hardware, software, and Apple platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading testing efforts for hardware and software in an infrastructure environment.
• Ability to create test plans, test schedules, and test summaries.
• Ability to facilitate defects tracking and problem determination throughout the life cycle.
• Ability to manage multiple large testing efforts simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize testing for hardware and software efforts (POS, desktops, scales, mobile, Apple tech).
• Collaborate with project teams to understand system requirements.
• Own testing activities: scope, documentation, and resource management.
• Attend project meetings to gather requirements and set testing timelines.
• Review project docs to identify test scenarios.
• Convert requirements into clear test cases.
• Document test designs, procedures, and defects.
• Oversee test script execution and validate results.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution throughout the lifecycle.
