Job summary

Publix seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to plan testing efforts and translate requirements into test plans and scenarios. You will develop automated and manual tests for enterprise applications and coordinate with development teams to ensure quality releases.

Hybrid role in Lakeland, FL with both in-person collaboration and remote work. 4+ years in software testing, with automation expertise in Playwright or Selenium, and strong SQL and API testing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
• 4+ years of experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium to create and execute test cases, track defects, and perform requirements coverage.
• 2+ years designing automation test strategies and frameworks with languages/frameworks such as Java, C#, Python, Typescript, or .NET.
• 2+ years of experience writing SQL queries on RDBMS platforms like SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience testing APIs, batch jobs, web-based and mobile front ends.
• 2+ years developing and maintaining automated tests using UI and/or API based frameworks, CI/CD tools.
• 2+ years testing Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake.

Responsibilities

• Derive test strategies and test plans to effectively test the solution.
• Provide testing leadership to project teams to execute the test plan.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Analyze results and report defects.
• Perform integration, system, user acceptance, regression, load, and performance testing.
• Coordinate with development teams to plan testing efforts and oversee testing execution for enterprise applications.

Join the Retail Fresh Delivery team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer where you willbe responsible forplanning testing efforts and executing on small to large enterprise level applications by translating functional requirements, project documentation, release notes into test requirements and scenarios.Additionalresponsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual test cases for regression, load, and performance testing, and coordinating with development teams for creating comprehensive test plans and execution.
