Job summary

Airtm is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its web application and backend services. You will define acceptance criteria, build automated testing frameworks, and contribute to CI/CD while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will advance AI-assisted testing, harness LLM tools, run manual tests when needed, and help improve overall product quality across global remote teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer for web apps and backend services.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL API testing and failure scenarios.
• Ability to read frontend and backend code to aid in debugging and test design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems (Git).
• Experience with AI-assisted testing and language model tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes product specifications to derive acceptance criteria.
• Collaborates with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and edge cases.
• Designs, implements, and maintains automated tests (end-to-end, integration, regression).
• Performs manual testing for new features before automation coverage.
• Monitors and improves test coverage, reliability, and performance.
• Integrates automated tests into the CI/CD deployment pipeline.
• Creates detailed bug reports and testing documentation to raise quality.
• Designs and deploys AI-assisted testing workflows for test data generation and log analysis.
• Evaluates and integrates LLM-based testing tools into QA workflows.
