Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a senior Quality Assurance professional to lead large QA programs across the SDLC. You will define testing strategies, develop test plans and scripts, and oversee automated testing efforts for complex government-driven systems.

The role requires strong knowledge of QA standards (CMMI/IEEE), test automation, and defect tracking, with 8–15 years of experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and junior staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• Certified Tester -- Advanced Level (TTA, TA, and/or TM) desired
• 8-15 years professional software testing experience including test automation and/or infrastructure development, test planning, test case design, test methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts.
• Experience with configuring hardware and operating environments to complete testing.
• Experience in writing or assisting in development of test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business, product, and development teams as a senior QA resource through all SDLC phases.
• Develops and implements test plans, cases, and scripts for large or complex programs.
• Writes and executes automated tests when applicable and tracks results.
• Leads reviews and inspections to improve product testability and quality.
• Coordinates with QA leads on multiple projects and provides testing guidance.
• Documents issues and oversees resolution; creates SOPs for testing processes.
