Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to participate in QA activities, develop automated tests, and support CI/CD within an Agile federal IT program.

You will work with developers and product managers to define automation components, validate REST/SOAP APIs, and ensure comprehensive testing across UI and microservices. Experience with Java and open-source tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity).
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and APIs; SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events, test plans, scripts, schedules and test reports.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Collaborates with developers, shared services and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Develops tests for Web Front end and microservice architectures using Java.
• Supports CI integration and team estimation of stories including test automation effort.
• Contributes to cross-functional teamwork within Agile project lifecycle.
