Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an experienced QA leader to oversee large QA programs. You will establish software quality standards, develop test strategies, and drive testing across complex programs while coordinating with business, product, and development teams.

You will create master test plans, write automated tests when applicable, and lead defect tracking, reviews, and audits to ensure defect-free system applications for government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's preferred.
• 8-15 years of professional software testing experience, incl. test automation.
• Experience drafting test plans and test procedures; collaborating with developers and users.
• Knowledge of CMMI/IEEE standards and SDLC methodologies.
• Ability to configure hardware/ environments for testing and write SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of large QA programs across products/services.
• Establish software quality standards for life cycle, testing, and maintenance.
• Create master test plans, strategies, and schedules for multiple projects.
• Write and execute automated test scripts when applicable.
• Manage defect tracking and coordinate with junior staff to ensure defect resolution.
• Conduct QA reviews, walkthroughs, and supplier/government audits as needed.
• Provide metrics, IPReviews, and QA training recommendations.
