Job summary

StackAdapt is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive software quality through automation in a remote-friendly North American setting. The role focuses on building reliable automated tests and integrating them into our CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate across Platform, Product, DevOps, and QA to ensure rapid, high-quality releases while supporting scalable web APIs and backend processing systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional, hands-on test automation experience with API & UI test frameworks.
• Knowledge of React, including data-testids.
• Ability to explore codebase and utilise technical tools for implementation understanding.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of scalable web APIs and backend processing systems.
• QA methodologies in a software company with short release cycles.
• Experience writing test cases for edge/negative scenarios and concurrency.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-house automated and functional test scripts and tooling for API, UI, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, DevOps, and other teams to run automated tests in CI/CD environments.
• Provide timely test results feedback to stakeholders and teams.
• Participate in technical planning, code review, and architectural decisions.
