Job summary

CentralReach is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software lifecycle within an Agile team. You will develop and maintain test plans, automate tests, and collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities include enhancing test coverage, creating API/web/mobile test cases, and expanding automated scripts while maintaining a reliable automation library. Hybrid work model with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years in Quality Assurance within an Agile environment.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications in a SaaS setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication across Product, Engineering and DevOps.
• Experience writing test cases (functional and non-functional) and managing a test case library.
• Proficient in scripting/programming for test automation of web/mobile/APIs.
• Deep knowledge of UI test automation and related patterns.
• Familiarity with REST API, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and API tooling like Postman.
• Ability to query relational databases and understand data relationships.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into releases.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the test case library to improve coverage.
• Create test cases for web, mobile, API, and system integrations.
• Perform manual acceptance testing on an Agile team and report defects.
• Increase automated test coverage with reusable scripts.
• Develop automation within timebox constraints to ensure coverage.
• Maintain the test automation library for reliability.
• Develop test plans ensuring full coverage for releases.
• Promote collaboration with Product and Engineering on quality initiatives.
