Job summary

Kforce is seeking a QA Automation Engineer in Phoenix, AZ to drive quality across cloud-based applications. You will design and maintain automated test frameworks, validate web, API, and backend services, and partner with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable releases.

Responsibilities include building test plans, implementing automated tests with Selenium/Playwright/Cypress, integrating tests into CI/CD, and mentoring junior QA members while promoting best practices across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software QA with 3+ years in test automation.
• Experience with web/API/backend testing and automation tools.
• Proficient in SQL, Git, CI/CD and Agile environments.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, JS).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
• Create and execute tests for web, API, and backend services.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve quality.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote testing best practices.
