Job summary

Mega Cloud Lab is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join the Phoenix team on-site. You will implement Java-based automation, leverage the Karate framework, and validate REST APIs with JSON/XML checks, including authentication mechanisms.

As part of an Agile/Scrum environment, you will design scalable QA frameworks, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and mentor junior engineers. Strong debugging and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java with solid OOP concepts.
• Hands‑on experience in API automation using Karate framework.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD).
• Integration of automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Build tools: Maven/Gradle and version control using Git.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD).
• Develop API automation and ensure REST API validation and authentication flows.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, mentor juniors, and debug root causes.
• Validate backend data with SQL queries.
