Job summary

FOSS is seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer to build and evolve automated test frameworks for cloud platform services, spanning UI and API layers. You will work with developers, product managers, and operations to ensure high-quality releases and to thoughtfully integrate AI tooling into testing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in QA automation, hands-on framework development, and strong knowledge of Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, RESTful APIs, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in QA automation with test framework development.
• Proficient in UI and API testing and modern automation tools.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Strong English communication in international team.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute manual tests to verify specs.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API.
• Run tests in CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
• Convert manual tests to automated coverage and assist devs.
• Provide dashboards on test coverage and results.
• Triage defects and assist reproduction of issues.
• Evaluate AI-assisted testing tools with care.
• Contribute to test process improvements.
