Job summary
nesto in Canada is seeking a Senior QA Automation Developer (I or II) to strengthen automation, raise quality standards, and shape how our teams build and deliver software. This remote-first role reports to the Engineering Team Lead and uses Playwright, Postman, and API validation across UI and backend systems.
Work with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to expand automation coverage, implement data-driven tests, and improve CI/CD quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud apps.
- 2+ years automating end-to-end tests with Playwright/Cypress.
- Automation-first mindset with CI/CD in mind.
- Full-stack testing across UI and API using Postman.
- Experience with TS/Go and relational databases is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA staff.
- Drive UI and API testing using monitoring signals and feedback.
- Contribute to team tooling and standards to speed automation.
- Improve processes, docs, and workflows beyond test execution.
