Job summary

Citi in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design and implement automated test solutions using Selenium WebDriver with Java. You will lead manual and automated testing across functional areas, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring data integrity through SQL validation.

The role requires strong programming skills, experience with testing frameworks, and a proactive approach to quality.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficient in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Pytest, NUnit, or similar.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.
• Write and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects not covered by formal test cases.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (POM, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber).
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Perform various testing types including functional, regression, smoke, and API testing.
• Conduct API testing with Postman/Swagger and validate data with SQL.
• Participate in code reviews of test scripts and report progress to stakeholders.
• Stay current with new testing tools and methodologies.
