Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Tampa team. The role emphasizes building robust automated test scripts with Selenium WebDriver in Java and designing comprehensive manual and automated test plans. You will work across development, product, and QA to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.

You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, perform API and SQL validation, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 6–9 years of QA with strong test automation focus.
• Proficient in automated test scripts with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming skills in an OO language (Java, Python, C#).
• Experience with frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, NUnit, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Experience with manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA to define test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in Java.
• Create and execute manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, and regression scopes.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects not covered by tests.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects and quality status.
