Job summary

Citi is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to design and execute automated tests guarding the quality of financial technology products used across Citi.

You will build test strategies for automation, API, and performance testing, integrate tests into CI/CD, write SQL to verify data, and collaborate with teams to rollout production.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of QA experience in financial services.
• Hands-on test automation with Selenium or Cypress.
• Experience API testing, performance testing, SQL, and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute automation scripts across automation, API, performance, and UI tests.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Develop API test suites using Postman or SoapUI to validate microservices.
• Design and run performance tests with JMeter; write SQL queries for data validation.
• Review scripts and track quality metrics across testing cycles.
