Job summary

BairesDev, a global technology firm, is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to own API design and backend services powering mass-market experiences.

You will build consumer-facing systems at scale, work with a product and design team, and ship end-to-end on AWS serverless infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway)
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform)
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture
• Advanced proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services powering web and mobile experiences.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
• Build infrastructure as code to support repeatable deployments.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
