Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Principal Python Engineer to design APIs and services powering web and mobile experiences used by millions of users. This hands-on role offers full ownership from design to deployment within a fully remote setup.

You will work on backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure, implement data models with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and shape scalable microservices and event-driven architectures alongside a product and design team. Advanced English is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
• Build infrastructure as code to support consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Design microservices and event-driven systems that scale with demand.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
