BairesDev is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer (Python) to shape the backend architecture behind products serving millions of users. This is a hands-on leadership role where your designs drive scalability, reliability, and performance, from design through deployment, in collaboration with product and design partners.

You will design AWS serverless solutions, microservices, and data stores with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, while guiding teams and defining infrastructure as code.

Competenze

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• IaC familiarity (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced English proficiency.

Mansioni

• Design and build backend architecture on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design microservices and event-driven systems that scale with demand.
• Define infrastructure as code practices to support consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
