BairesDev is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to design APIs and backend services that power our consumer-grade platform used by millions. This hands-on role grants full ownership from design through deployment in a 100% remote, globally distributed team.

You will work with AWS serverless tech, PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and scalable microservices, collaborating with product and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build backend services powering web and mobile experiences.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
• Build infrastructure as code to support repeatable deployments.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
