Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead Python and AWS efforts, building and operating the AWS serverless infrastructure behind products used by millions. This hands-on role shapes the team's cloud architecture and practices.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Python.
Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Design and implement services on AWS serverless infrastructure (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
Build and maintain infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
