Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the Purchasing Staff within the Workcell.
• Communicate criteria to recruiters for Purchasing Staff position candidates.
• Monitor team member turnover; identify factors to improve; implement changes.
• Provide weekly communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.
• Define, develop and implement a Materials strategy contributing to campus strategic directions.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities by streamlining processes and systems.
• Monitor material supply to meet MRP requirements and resolve shortages or excess inventory.
