Job summary

Jabil is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the Purchasing Staff within the Workcell and drive the development and execution of Supply Chain strategies. You will ensure materials supply matches demand while optimizing overall material costs and performance.

You will recruit, develop, and coach team members, establish measurable goals, and partner with leadership to implement strategic initiatives across the campus. This role emphasizes cost control, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management or Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview Purchasing Staff.
• Monitor turnover and identify factors for improvement; implement changes.
• Develop and validate a Materials strategy aligned with campus goals.
• Provide regular updates on strategy execution to leadership.
• Coach and mentor Materials staff to deliver value to internal/external customers.
• Lead cost reduction efforts through process and system improvements.
• Ensure supplier pricing and terms are negotiated and applied to POs.
• Drive continued improvement in key operational metrics and timelines.
