Job summary

Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Line Lead for our Florence, KY location to organize line workload and staffing based on product priority. You will ensure workmanship standards, monitor CIQ for problems, and minimize changeover times while maintaining proper material stockage and supply availability.

The role requires minimum 3 years in manufacturing with at least 1 year in a leadership role and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with Assembly Line Supervisor and organizes line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
Ensures workmanship standards and monitors the CIQ system to fix issues promptly.
Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers.
Minimizes excess material on floor; ensures availability of operation supplies and equipment.
Verifies that documentation on the line is current, accurate and authorized.
Informs employees of deviations or changes and provides timely feedback.
Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
Ensures line personnel are trained, certified, and performing their duties.
