Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead end-to-end category management and sourcing. You will evaluate stakeholder requirements, perform spend analyses, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance and sustainability.

You will manage supplier relationships, mentor the team, and collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Finance, and Project Management to align strategies with business goals. Remote position with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience.
Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute assigned category strategies by evaluating stakeholder requirements, trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Conduct supplier/category spend analysis, should-cost modeling, and market/competitive research to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Manage supplier relationships to secure collaborations that maintain performance, adhere to reporting requirements, mitigate risks and drive cost savings and innovation.
Assist with risk and compliance: manage supply risk, ensure policy compliance, support sustainability and diversity goals within the category.
Lead end-to-end category management and sourcing from strategy to negotiation and contract execution.
Integrate ESG and sustainability initiatives into sourcing and category strategy decisions.
Mentor and develop team members to build analytical, strategic, and best-practice capabilities.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Project Management, Finance and other stakeholders to align category strategies with business objectives.
Drive collaboration with local site procurement teams to manage supplier performance and strategy implementation.
Design and execute performance monitoring to track savings goals, compliance, and adjust strategies.
Deploy robust risk management processes including exit strategies and supplier management.
Execute indirect procurement category sourcing activities including RFXs and supplier selection criteria.
Develop and drive negotiation strategies with vendors and cross-functional teams.
Streamline business processes and leverage market tools to inform decisions.
Forge relationships across the company and suppliers to drive results.
Position is remote with occasional travel to sites and team meetings.
