George T. Sanders Company is seeking a hands-on Purchasing Manager to lead purchasing, supplier relationships, and warranty returns to ensure reliable product availability and disciplined inventory investment.

You will collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain and Inventory Control to meet branch needs, improve replenishment, reduce surplus, and manage supplier performance across the organization. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and ERP proficiency in a hybrid office

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in purchasing or supply chain, with team leadership.
• Plumbing, hydronics, HVAC product knowledge preferred.
• Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Infor CloudSuite Distribution or SX.e helpful).

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the purchasing team through coaching, training, performance expectations, and regular team meetings.
• Plan purchases around forecasts, seasonal demand, customer commitments, and lead-times; negotiate pricing, rebates, and terms.
• Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain and Inventory Control on replenishment and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate efficient distribution from suppliers and within GTS infrastructure.
• Execute surplus reduction through returns, rotations, transfers, and adjustments; support SKU additions and inventory investigations.
• Lead procurement matters with Affiliated Distributors (AD).
• Partner with Accounting on accruals, statements, and disputed remittances.
• Oversee warranties and returns; monitor supplier delivery, quality, and shipping accuracy; create vendor scorecards.
