Job summary

CS Recruiting is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Alpharetta, GA for a full-time hybrid role. You will handle tactical purchasing with suppliers, build strong vendor partnerships, and drive inventory decisions, pricing strategies, and expedited actions.

You will collaborate with Directors of Supplier Business Development, manage backlogs, support Sales quotes, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College Degree Preferred
• Experience in Purchasing, Materials Management and/or Supplier management in the Semiconductor space
• Proficiency in computer skills, presentation creation
• Works well within a team
• Self-starter - ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
• Website and Ecommerce experience
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, interrupt driven environment

Responsibilities

• Handle day to day tactical purchasing duties with assigned suppliers
• Develop close working partnerships and oversee activity with OCM vendor partners
• Proactively manage vendor purchasing programs with Directors of Supplier Business Development
• Participate in analyses of new inventory investment opportunities
• Identify pricing recommendations and modifications for products from assigned suppliers
• Manage procurement backlog and report results
• Support the Sales team on quoting opportunities
• Execute strategies to maximize current inventory investment
• Drive operational excellence with vendors and suppliers for quality and on-time delivery
• Manage necessary expedite actions with assigned suppliers
