Job summary

Conduent is seeking a Senior Tactical Buying Services Analyst to lead negotiations, sourcing, contract and PO issuance for the GBS Shared Purchasing Services team. You will manage indirect purchasing, collaborate with regional stakeholders, and drive cost-saving opportunities with data-driven strategies.

The role requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and ability to navigate cross-functional environments. Hybrid work arrangement and global buying experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least three years of experience negotiating, sourcing, and managing contracts.
• Experience with indirect purchasing commodities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage key suppliers using strategic sourcing and end-to-end commodity management for assigned indirect purchasing commodities.
• Maintain understanding of program timelines, supplier lead times, and supplier capacity.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through competitive bidding, eAuctions, electronic catalogs, blanket contracts, and spend analytics.
• Meet cost-savings targets, support process improvements, and deliver against KPIs.
• Ensure proper routing of low-value and emergency purchases to the Transactional Purchasing Services team.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop commodity knowledge and sourcing strategies based on market trends.
• Manage sourcing process: bid-list, RFQ, supplier negotiations, supplier selection, and PO issuance.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
