United Electric Supply seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead day-to-day purchasing and inventory management, aligning decisions with company goals and working with sales, operations, logistics, and finance to improve service, working capital, and profitability.

You will coach the team, optimize supplier performance, and translate priorities into measurable actions while supervising replenishment, pricing, and stock availability across branches.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or distribution.
• Electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating others.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Ability to interpret demand, inventory, pricing, rebate, lead times, and supplier-performance data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and purchasing/inventory reporting tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the purchasing team with clear priorities.
• Execute purchasing and inventory strategies with senior leadership.
• Maintain balanced inventory supporting demand while reducing excess.
• Review demand, lead times, backorders to improve availability.
• Manage supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Negotiate pricing, terms with suppliers.
• Monitor market conditions and communicate impacts.
• Produce weekly and monthly purchasing/inventory reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve shortages and service concerns.
• Support branch locations with purchasing and replenishment.
